Lowe's is a blast!

We all took our weekly trip to Lowe's! I just love this place! The smells, the toys, the people...it's just one big playground! No way will I stay in my cart when there is so much to be explored! I, of course, was drawn to the tool bins. You leave it to me, I will find anything with drawers! I especially like to push the shopping cart all by myself. There is a bar at the bottom that is perfect for me. I heard MaMa say she was afraid other shoppers would think she was mean to let a baby push their cart around. Baby...I don't think so...I am a strong boy! I also heard her say that Lowe's should give us some free shares of stock because they have spent so much money there on homes over the last two years. I can't believe Mommy and Daddy are rebuying things they already bought for the Tampa home. What is wrong with them?!?!?! Couldn't they have just moved it all with us? I can't wait to go back next week to buy an air filter we forgot and a mini fridge! Yippeeeeeeee!

We were so excited to have the Roehling's visit us from H-town! I was so excited to play with Carter and Mama couldn't wait to have a lovely smelling baby in the house! I wasn't jealous at all and loved giving Carter lots of kisses! He is such a happy boy and smiles all of the time! It was a riot listening to the parents chit chat. They kept laughing about how times have changed and they used to stay up until 1 or 2 chatting and having "bers". I can't believe they ever stayed up that late! How did they ever get up so early after those late nights? Apparently, they used to sleep until after 9! No way! I just can't imagine that! They managed to stay up until 11, which was a big accomplishment! We had a ball at the pumpkin patch and picked out a pumpkin. Aunt Carrie and Mommy took me for a long car ride at the Shops at La Cantera, while Daddy and Uncle Chad played golf. I can dig this shopping thing, as long as I get to drive the green car all day! It's much better driving into Nordstrom's and Potterybarn rather than strolling in! I hope they come back for another visit real soon! I am discovering that friends are a nice thing to have!

Uh oh! I'm lucky mommy didn't get us thrown out of the zoo! We were hanging out by the baby hippo when mommy started slathering sunscreen on me. Then she got out my favorite hat and placed it on my head. Well, I just didn't want to wear it and decided to throw it off. Problem is that mommy just isn't as quick as she used to be and it fell into the hippo's quarters! The zoo keeper was really sweet and told mommy he would just spit it out. No worries! I thought it was funny to watch him gobble it up and use it as a chew toy! Silly mommy!!!!!

Our Busy Little Worker

Mommy and I end every afternoon outside in the cool breeze! (Hey, it's still in the 80's, but we'll take it!) I just love playing outdoors! I especially like hauling rocks! I really enjoy sorting them out in various piles. I wonder who I get that from!?!? I stay busy moving them from pile to pile and placing them just right. I have the best time pulling my wagon around. I just wish Mommy would let me run with it. She is always in my way trying to slow me down. One time I fell on my knees and got a stingy ouchie. I thought Mama was going to pass out. She really needs to get over it and let me be a boy! I wasn't even phased by the fall!

I had a ball vacuuming with Mommy the other day! I worked busily for 30 minutes on our entry! How fun! I hope she lets me play with the larger one hiding in the closet next week! I just love our new home and enjoy exploring the new terrain! The stairs are the best and Mommy taught me how to slide down on my bum. I also have fun sorting the rocks outside and moving them from place to place. I am just a busy boy and keep Mommy on her toes. I have to0 much time to rest when I am old!
