Mommy Wears Many Hats

I luv!

Tired Eyes!

I said, "I luv" for the first time tonight, when Mommy put me to bed! For those of you who know the history of "I luv" you will understand why Mommy was in tears and jumping for joy! This was a big milestone for the Baby Book! We had our normal bedtime routine, Mommy read me two stories and rocked me for a bit. Then she laid me down and I said "I luv" four times! Geez, if I would've known the reation I got then I would've said it sooner.

Daddy came home for lunch today and we got a game of broom ball in! Mommy and I love it when he comes home for lunch. I just get sad when he leaves for work again!

Zoo Trip

Mommy and I went to the zoo again! It was awful hot, so we found the indoor play area and had a ball! As usual, I found some water to play with. I got to go fishing!

Mommy and Daddy can't seem to get me to eat much meat lately. I hear it makes me strong, but it has such a yucky texture and taste. I do love hot dogs though! Yum! So, Nanny found some made with chicken and wrapped in bread. Who needs a chicken breast when you can eat a chicken dog!? Mommy gags at the thought. I am just not that into meat or veggies right now. I think I ate too many in my younger years!

Dum Dum Ditty Ditty Dum Dum

I got to meet my new friend Kate this weekend! Mommy, Daddy and I drove to Austin to visit The Henley's! Mommy has known Mr. Jon for a long time and we wanted to watch The Belmont race together. Poor Big Brown...didn't win the Triple Crown! I had fun chasing Kate around the house and tried to land a smooch a time or two. I got to go swimming and ride on the boat again! We also got to feed some of the biggest catfish I have ever seen! It was a fun time and I now know why Mommy and Daddy love their friends so much! Good times with special friends!
