What's Cooking?

Last night I helped Mommy make a Roasted Potato and Leek Soup. I can't say that I was anxious about trying it, but I sure did have fun using the food processor. Our labors weren't wasted because Daddy ate two whole helpings! Mommy says she is never sure if her new recipes will go over well, but you have to make a go at it! This morning we had to make Pumpkin Cheesecake Bars for Daddy to take to work. We had to make another dessert, because Mommy messed up on the ingredients the day before! Mommy says I am becoming an expert egg cracker and stirrer! Look out Tyler Florence!Thursday, November 19, 2009
Gobble Gobble
Mommy came to school today for our Thanksgiving Feast! I was bummed Daddy missed out. We dressed up as turkeys and sang our "Fluffy Turkey" song and recited a poem. Mommy got to stay for our feast and I introduced her to my friends. It was so much fun!

A Day of Blessing for Harley
We took Harley to the annual Blessing of the Animals Day at my school. I was so excited to take Harley to school and introduce him to Mrs. Sheppard and my friends. There were all kinds of animals there...cats, dogs, birds, hamsters, lizards. Harley was wagging his tail like crazy and seemed so happy. Mommy was such a sap and had to hold back tears. Harley received his blessing like a champ!

Kaden's Baseball Game
We went to Kaden's baseball game at the Y and it was awesome! I took my glove that was Kaden's when he was my age. We played catch and he taught me some pointers. Kaden's team won (even though they aren't supposed to keep score at YMCA games) and Kaden hit a two run homer! Aunt Kimmy bought me a snow cone and made it a perfect day! I sure will miss them when they move to Dallas!

Trick or Treat
This year Halloween was a success! This was my first year Trick or Treating! I've been a bit scared in the past. Mommy thought I would be more willing if I went with my friend, Cody. She was right! I had so much fun going door to door asking for treats. I dressed up as Woody from Toy Story and Daddy was a cowboy. It's been a busy month full of Pumpkin Patches, Fall Parties and lots of candy! Smarties are my favorite! I also won Honorable Mention for Best Costume in our neighborhood's Fall Festival. I was so proud!
