4th of July with the Hutchinson's

I had a ball visiting Grant in Chicago! We spent Fourth of July weekend with the Hutchinson's and went nonstop! Grant took me on his boat and we watched the most amazing fireworks. We also hit up Navy Pier and the Children's museum. It's a wonderland there with so many fun things to do. Thomas and Carrie were gracious hosts and made the best breakfasts! The best part was getting to hang out with my buddy, Grant.

Grandmops and Grandpops came down from New York for a visit! We had a nice time. I gave Grandpops a check-up and was happy to find him in excellent health. Grandmops gave me a run for my money on the basketball court. She's got some skills!

First Day of Preschool

School has begun! I attended my first day at St. Thomas Episcopal school. My teacher's name is Mrs. Shephard and I just adore her. She is from Germany and has been teaching for many years. With my bag in hand, I walked right into class and didn't shed one tear. I think Mommy had a tougher time than I did. I had a ball in Spanish and music class. There was a bit of a problem sharing, but Mrs. Shepard said I would get better with this over time. I asked mommy if I could go to school, "one more time" and she told me I had the next 20 years to go to school. Just think, 20 more years of fun!

Mommy the Slacker

Bad Mommy! Mommy has not been good about updating my blog this summer! To her defense, she was without her laptop for 7 weeks. (She had to get a new keyboard...because I broke off some keys when I was a baby and it was about time to get them repaired. I don't know why Mommy wouldn't just get a new computer, but she is stubborn like that!) Anyways, I thought I would have her add a picture that I took of her. I love playing with the camera! It's my new pastime!
