Pilates For Kiddos

Joseph Pilates felt it was important for children to practice Contrology, which today is known as Pilates.  In the spirit of Joseph Pilates, Mommy held her first Pilates for Kiddos class poolside today!   Mommy found out from another Mommy that the kids were talking about it in the carpool line.  I think our class might be growing!

Arctic Plunge Take Two

Lawson couldn't wait to take another Polar Plunge with his cousins!  He new better this time and let them go right ahead!  Christopher and Corbin were convinced they were going to swim, but the cold quickly changed their minds!  Lawson opted for a walk across the steps and even that was a quick reminder of how cold his first plunge was.  The adults sure did get a laugh out of the facial expressions!  What a wonderful memory!

Fiesta Farm

Lawson and his best bud Brody.

Boys being boys.

Let it be known that Lawson dressed himself on this day!  Love the hat!

They were given ice cream cones filled with corn and grains.

Only in Texas do you find a peacock roaming about on a farm!

Lawson loved the baby!  So so cute!

We spent a week learning about farm animals and what goes on at the farm!  I didn't realize how farms effected our lives!    They provide food, clothing and so many products that we use daily.  I also shared stories about my Pa growing up on a farm.  They couldn't believe that he didn't have a bathroom.  I still can't get over that!  Mrs. Acuna planned a fun field trip to Fiesta Farm.  I was so happy that Mommy was able to go!  (Mommy on the other hand was a bit disturbed with the conditions and health of some of the animals.  However, her schedule does not allow her to become an animal rights activist at this time.)  We had a blast feeding goats, rabbits, llamas, pigs and guinea pigs!  I loved chasing the chickens!
